Andrew R. Wade

Andrew R. Wade, 57, of Cortland and formerly of Champion, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 14, 2018 at home.  He was born January 15, 1961 in Warren, the son of Roger and Arlein (Kays) Wade, and had lived in the area all his life.

A graduate of Champion High School, Andy was a firefighter with the Champion Fire Department.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is sadly missed by his father, Roger Wade of Champion; wife, Sherry (Maffitt) Wade, whom he married August 10, 2011; two sons, Robert and Jimmy Luich, both of Warren; a daughter, Amanda Wolfert of Florida; six grandchildren; and four sisters: Patty (Jerry) Dean, Karen Wade, Donna (Denny) Skeels, all of Champion, and Tina Heck of Austintown.

Preceding him in death are his mother and a stepdaughter, Hannah Trumbull.

According to his wishes, cremation is taking place.  Private services will be conducted at a later date.
