Olga A. Scrabis

Olga A. Scrabis, 94, of Warren, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Gillette Nursing Home.  She was born March 23, 1923 in Braddock, Pa., the daughter of Paul and Anna (Roman) Galuska, and lived most of her life in Ohio.

A homemaker, Olga had been a member at the former Christ Our King Catholic Church.  She loved her family, music, and dancing.

Fond memories of Olga live on with her two children, Ronald J. (Rosemarie) Scrabis of Newton Falls and Pamela M. (Larry) Simpson of Fowler; eight grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Joseph J. Scrabis Sr., whom she married February 14, 1941 and who died in November, 1973; and a son, Joseph J. “Jay” Scrabis, Jr., who died in 2008.

Funeral services are 11:00 am Monday, February 19, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.  Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home.
