Bruce Schrader Obituary

Bruce D. Schrader, 75, of Newton Falls, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 13, 2019 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. He was born April 4, 1943 in McKeesport, Pa., the son of James H. and Dorothy (Sauer) Schrader, and had lived in Ohio since 1980.

A Vietnam-era veteran of the U.S. Army, where he worked as a Jeep mechanic, Bruce retired from the Army Corps of Engineers in Berlin Center. He belonged to the American Legion in Lake Milton and the Maennerchor Club in Youngstown, and enjoyed reading, fishing, listening to the Muleface Band, and spending time with his friends.

He is sadly missed by his sister, Joy E. Schrader of Ashland; and his brother, Wayne James (Jerry) Schrader of Gainesville, Ga.; and other close friends and family.

Services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation is taking place.
