Carol Burdon Obituary

Carol A. Burdon, 71, formerly of Warren and Howland, passed away peacefully Monday, December 10, 2018 at her home in Fairview Park, Ohio.  She was born July 28, 1947 in Indiana, Pa., the daughter of Stephen and Helen (Thomas) Polinsky, moving to Ohio in 1965.

A graduate of Homer City, Pa. High School and Kent State University, Carol worked on the assembly line and as a parts inspector for Packard Electric, retiring in 2002 after 37 years of employment.  She was active with the GM Retirees and enjoyed Clint Eastwood movies, Westerns, gardening, her dogs, especially her dog Dacia, and most of all, her children and grandchildren.

Fond memories of Carol live on with her three children: Nicole (Phillip Mazza) Burdon of Fairview Park, Steve (Joey Vela) Burdon of Las Vegas, Nev., and Curtis Burdon of Warren; three grandsons: Eric Ferjanic, Andrew Mazza, and Stephen “Tino” Burdon; and a brother, Stephen (Cathy) Polinsky of Homer City, Pa.

Preceding her in death are her parents and her loving husband of 46 years, Eric Burdon, whom she married May 20, 1972 and who passed away May 7, 2018.
