Mary Hazel Foster Cox, 86, of Warren, died of Dementia on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her home. She was born March 23, 1932 in Warren, the daughter of the late Jumbo and Pearl Foster, and lived in Trumbull County most of her life, having also lived in Florida for ten years after her husband, Virgil Cox, retired.
Mary retired from Packard Electric after 26 years of employment. She loved the bus trips to go gambling, and staying in the casinos.
Fond memories of Mary live on with her daughter, Barbara Bickel, with whom she lived; two sons, Wayne of Warren and Kenneth of Arizona; three grandsons; one granddaughter; six great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; a sister, Edith of Lordstown; and two brothers, Gene of Niles and John of Tennessee.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Virgil Cox, with whom she was married for fifty years before his passing in 1998; a sister, Charlene; and six brothers: Jeff, Jack, Tom, Luke, Dock, and Junior.
She loved her son-in-law Gary. He kept her fully amused. She had a special place in her heart for her nephew and nieces.
Services are 3:00 pm Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with her niece, Rev. Connie Foster, officiating. Friends may call 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
