Mary I. Westfall, 89, formerly of Leavittsburg, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 5, 2019 at Life Care Center of Rhea County in Dayton, Tenn. She was born July 13, 1930 in Mannington, W. Va., the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Higgombottom) Burnfield, and had moved to Tennessee from Leavittsburg eight years ago.
A homemaker, Mary had attended the Ravenna Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed reading, crafts, crochet, and knitting.
Precious memories of Mary live on with her three daughters: Elizabeth Lundy of Leavittsburg, Kathleen Sahyers of Huntsburg, and Lauretea Hahne of Dayton, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna Shell of Newark, Ohio; and three brothers: Edward of Howland, Kenneth of Champion, and James Burnfield of Warren.
Friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 am Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Meadow Brook Memorial Park in Champion.
