Reaby A. McPherson

Reaby A. McPherson, 83, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 9:44 p.m. in the Intensive Care Unit at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren.

Mrs. McPherson was born on February 23, 1935 in Washington, Pa. to James Bowling, Sr. and Lydia Lipscomb Clark.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. McPherson was married to the late Sterling McPherson Sr. on December 13, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2016.

Fond memories of Reaby will be cherished by her sons Frederick (Michelle) Bowling of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Sterling McPherson Jr. of Las Vegas, Robert McPherson of Warren and Londell McPherson of Las Vegas; daughters Roslyn (William) Williams, Darlene McPherson and Charlene (Eddie) Robertson all of Warren; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florida Mae (William) Strickland of Easton, Pa. and Dorothy R. Perry of Levittown, Pa.; one sister-in-law, Doris Bowling of Easton, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. McPherson was preceded in death by two sons, Richard McPherson and James A. Bowling; two sisters, Josephine Corum and Jacquelyn Perry; and two brothers, Thomas Bowling and Howard Perry.

Services are 11:00 am Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Niles Union Cemetery.  Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home.
