Ronald A. Baldwin I, 65, of Bazetta, passed away at his home on May 19, 2018. Ron was born September 2, 1952 to William Baldwin and Beverly Frazier. He married Amy, his devoted wife of thirty–eight years, on March 21, 1980.
Ronald was a 1970 Lakeview graduate. He served in the US Army and enjoyed fishing, hunting, casinos, and his grandchildren. Ron was a dedicated fan of Ohio State Buckeyes whom he cheered on with his family, Cleveland Indians, and never lost faith in the Cleveland Browns. Ron retired from Packard Electric and spent his time as a volunteer at Over The Rainbow Adult Day Care and working with his brother.
Ron is survived by his wife Amy; five children, Donna Holmes of Doylestown; Ronald Baldwin II (Lisa) of Cortland; Hope Fondriest (Edward IV) of Canton; Jamie Stephens (Sean) of Youngstown; and Adam Baldwin of Bazetta. He leaves behind ten grandchildren; Ronald III, Samantha, Brooke, Caden, Mackenzie, Edward V, Preston, Abigail, Maxton, and Suri. Survivors also include his brother William Baldwin (Marie) of Howland and two sisters; Dawna Fye (James) of Warren and Cherrie Heavner (Brian) of Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Beverly; step father Don Frazier; mother-in-law Marjorie; father-in-law Eldon; sister Linda Bliss; and other family.
Services will be Saturday, May 26 at 3:00 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with calling hours one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Over The Rainbow Adult Day Care. Ron, Grandpa Baldwin, will be greatly missed and his memory will forever be treasured.
