Ronald J. Brightwell

Ronald J. Brightwell, 76, of Warren, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  He was born May 2, 1943 in Alliance, the son of William and Madeline (Young) Brightwell, and had lived in the area all his life.

A 1962 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Ronald worked in construction and was always proud to show off the many buildings he had worked on. He attended Zion Apostolic Church in Akron and enjoyed cutting grass, cleaning cars, and collecting items.

Precious memories of Ronald live on with his two sons, Christopher (Ara) of Warren and Antonio Brightwell of Howland; two granddaughters, Krista and Katelynn Brightwell; and a twin brother, Donald Brightwell of Cleveland.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his beloved wife of 50 years, Betty (Stroud) Brightwell, who he married August 12, 1967 and who passed away January 10, 2018; and a grandson, Jonathan Brightwell.

Services are 11:00 am Friday, August 16, 2019 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with Bishop David Parker officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.  Friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
