Sarah “Sally” A. Kilbourne, 79, of McDonald, entered eternal life peacefully at home with her family at her side on Friday, December 7, 2018 under the comforting care of hospice.
Sally was born May 9, 1939 in Youngstown the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Sarah “Saddie” Conroy Harryhill and was a lifetime area resident of McDonald.
A 1957 graduate of McDonald High School, Sally was retired from Packard Electric. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McDonald and coordinated the divorced and separated group at St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.
Sally is survived by her husband Phillip E. Kilbourne Sr. whom she married on July 5, 1996; three sons Jeffrey R. (Judith) Stevens of Alapharetta, Georgia, Shawn J. (JoAnn) Stevens of McDonald and Edwin M. Stevens of McDonald; two stepsons Phillip E. Kilbourne Jr. of Girard and Stanley P. Kilbourne of New York City; a brother Joseph F. Harryhill of McDonald; a sister Irene F. Kunkle of McDonald; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Sally was preceded in death by a son Kenneth M. Stevens; a son-in-law Tom Batson; a brother Norman Harryhill and a sister Joan Kyle.
Family will receive friends on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 618 Ohio Ave, McDonald, Ohio 44437 with Fr. Edward Brienz Jr. officiating. EVERYONE IS ASKED TO PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH
Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Sally’s name to Emmanuel Community Care Center, 2 N State St., Girard, Ohio 44420.
