Thomas Boyles Obituary

Thomas E. Boyles, 77, of Howland, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Gillette Nursing Home in Warren. He was born December 4, 1940 in Philippi, W. Va., the son of Wayne Wilson and Lena (Whitehair) Boyles.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Tom had been a member of VFW Post 7200. He enjoyed raising livestock, working with farm equipment, and had been involved with 4-H.

Fond memories of Tom live on with his five children: Kenneth of Champion, Curtis of Florida, Donald of Tennessee, Amanda of Howland, and Jason Boyles of Howland; nine grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Boyles of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his loving wife of 42 years, Marsha (Rhine) Boyles, whom he married September 7, 1976 and who passed away October 10, 2018; one sister; and three brothers.

Per Tom’s request, cremation is taking place. Services are private.
