Vicki Powers Obituary

Vicki A. Powers, 69, of Warren, passed away peacefully Monday, June 18, 2018 at Gillette Nursing Home. She was born May 10, 1949 in Greensburg, Pa., the daughter of Anthony and Anna (Aleandri) Capozzi, and had lived in Ohio since the 1980s.

Vicki worked in distribution for Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She attended McKinley Community Church and enjoyed music and drag racing.

She is sadly missed by her devoted husband, Dennis R. Powers, whom she married July 7, 1990; four children: Metras Anthony (Amanda) Kovac of Cortland, Jean Kovac of Niles, Denise (Troy) Hicks of Tennessee, and Patty Rhodes of Niles; five grandchildren; two sisters, Regina Capozzi of Boston, Mass. and Vita McCormick of Warren; three brothers: Carmen (Linda Santone) of Greensburg, Anthony (Debbie) of Greensburg, and John Capozzi of Warren; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Preceding her in death are her parents and a son, John Powers.

Per her request, cremation is taking place. Services will be conducted at a later date.
