Betty A. Ziots, 93, of Niles, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Home in Liberty.
She was born Thursday, January 5, 1928 in New Salem, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Morovich Yankovich and was a graduate of Uniontown High School in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Betty worked at Wean Engineering in Warren and then at Delphi Packard.
A member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Warren, Betty was a person of great faith. Her devotion to the Blessed Mother, the Rosary and prayer kept her happy, content and at peace.
She enjoyed reading, watching the Steelers and Ohio State Football and visiting her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Betty will sadly missed by her daughter Sandra (Lloyd) Saxon of Niles, granddaughter Lisa (Alan) Reed of Oak Park, Ill., grandson Michael (Kristin) Saxon of Columbus, great grandchildren Kate Reed, Brayden Reed of Oak Park, Ill, brother Bernard (Bernice) Yankovich of Vienna, Ohio, sister-in-law Betty Yankovich of Pompton Plain, NJ and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Ziots, sister Mary Kmetz, brothers Michael, Edward, and William Yankovich.
Everyone who knew mom, loved her. She will be missed by all.

A Memorial Mass, with Fr. Frantisek Katrinak officiating, will be offered on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Inurnment will take place in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Betty’s name to the Restoration Fund of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 232 Seneca St. NE, Warren, Ohio 44481.
