Billy G. Crump

Billy G. Crump, 89, entered into eternal life Sunday June 6th, 2021 at Shepherd of the Valley-Liberty.  He was born November 13th 1931 in Youngstown, the son of William and Beatrice Crump.

Billy graduated from South High School, Class of June 1950.  After graduation, Billy proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy Reserve.  He retired from Youngstown Steel Door after 72 years where he served as the Manager of Industrial Engineering. In 1951, Billy married the love of his life Vida Martin and together they shared 70 loving years of marriage. He loved his family and always put his wife and children first. Billy enjoyed bowling, golf, roller staking, square dancing, and round dancing.

Billy will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Vida (Martin) Crump; sons, Raymond Crump of Canton, Edward (Sharon) Crump of Boardman, Robert (Renee) Crump of Mineral Ridge, and daughter Gloria (Harvey) Schiller of Liberty.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son William Anthony Crump, and siblings Owen Crump, Lester Crump, Elizabeth Fink, and Evelyn Moran.

Billy was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  Catholic prayer service will be at 6:00 pm, Thursday June 10, 2021 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Friends may call 5:00pm to 6:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
