Chris Gause

SOUTHINGTON – Chris Gause, age 59, formerly of Newton Falls and West Farmington, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 14, 2021. He was born August 10, 1961 in Warren, the son of William and Josephine (Amato) Gause.

Chris was a graduate of Farmington High School and worked many years for Master Builders in sales and design, and eventually as territory manager.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, boating, good food, and most of all, his time with his grandchildren.

He is sadly missed by his daughter, Amanda Trendle (Keith) of Southington; two sons, Christopher Gause of West Farmington and Joseph Klinger of Ravenna; two grandchildren, Logan and Kailey Trendle; one sister, Colleen Southern (William) of Florida; and two brothers, Delmar Moore of Southington and Alan Gause (Carrie) of West Farmington.

Preceding him in death are his parents, William and Josephine Gause; and one sister, Julie Ann Moore.

Services are 7:00 pm Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.  Friends may call 6:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Masks are required, and social distancing practices will be observed.
