David Sutliff Obituary

David Alan Sutliff, 75, of Kinsman, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the Hospice House on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021.
He was born March 25, 1946, to the late Mearlin Sutliff and the late Ecel Kincaid Sutliff, in Warren, Ohio.
 
David married Lydia Miller on Feb 4, 1998; and they enjoyed 23 years of marriage together. David served his country with the Army in Vietnam. He was a certified welder by trade and worked at Van Huffel Tube, had his own welding business and also later worked at Kraft Foods. He retired 13 years ago. David loved his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed his cows and horses for many years, going to auctions, playing cards, reading and spending time with family and friends.
 
He leaves to cherish his loving wife of 23 years, Lydia; his children, David Alan (Dedra) Sutliff Jr. of Columbus and Joseph Jay (Kim) Sutliff of Kinsman; three grandchildren, Nicole, Greg and Aaron; eight great-grandchildren; his siblings, Fred Sutliff, Frank (Lee) Sutliff and Doris Knepper, all of Champion, Sally West and Sue Wildman, both of Bristolville, Kate Heidelberg of Colorado, Diane Gill of North Bloomfield, Sharon (Harry) Speith of Andover and June (Skip) Wingfield of Champion .
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Rosemarie Heintz, Rebecca Lupco, Bonnie Culp, Martha Everitt and Patrick Sutliff; and multiple brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
 
A celebration of life will be Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, from 1 to 4 p.m., at 216 Stateline Road, Jamestown, Pa.
