Eric C. Baumgartner

CORTLAND – Eric C. Baumgartner, age 41, lifelong area resident, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 17, 2021 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.  He was born October 12, 1979 in Warren, the son of Charles P. and Frances (Wolfe) Baumgartner.

Eric was a graduate of LaBrae High School and worked for twenty-one years at Kraftmaid.  A talented artist, he had completed many paintings and drawings.  He also liked to go shooting at the range with his buddy.  He greatly enjoyed his children, especially shooting hoops with his son, painting with his younger daughter, and spending quality time with his older daughter.

Precious memories of Eric live on with his mother, Frances Baumgartner of Warren Township; three children: Noelle, Gavin, and Brielle Baumgartner, all of Cortland; his brother, Camden R. Baumgartner of Espyville, Pa.; and his former wife, Erica Baumgartner of Cortland.

His father precedes him in death.

Services are 11:00 am Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with Pastors Jerry Beulah and Chris Russo officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Friends may call 10:00 to 11;00 am Tuesday at the funeral home.  Masks are required, and social distancing practices will be observed.
