WARREN – Joy L. Ramsell, age 61, lifelong area resident of Windham, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born October 21, 1959 in Ravenna, the daughter of the late Leon and Lillian (Berg) Cooper.
Joy attended Windham High School and had worked in the delicatessen of several grocery stores. She greatly enjoyed seeing her children and grandchildren.
She is sadly missed by her one son, Wayne Ramsell, Jr. (Ashley) of Windham; two daughters, Michelle Lopez (Tad) of Warren and Stephanie Canan (Chris) of Windham; seven grandchildren: Nicole, Jimmy, Jessie, Christopher, Brayden, Brodie, and Tyra; two great-grandchildren, Mila and Gavin; three sisters: Sheila Liezert of Twinsburg, Sharon Swain (Bob) of West Virginia, and Patricia Michael (Dave) of Lake Milton; three brothers, Paul Cooper (Pat) of West Virginia, Donald Cooper (Bonnie) of Newton Falls, and Eric Cooper (Kim) of Windham; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Leon and Lillian Cooper, and one sister, Pamela Jenkins.
Per her request, services are private. Cremation is taking place.
