Julia Mae "Daisey" Crenshaw-Redd

WARREN – Julia Mae "Daisey" Crenshaw Redd, 96, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 12, 2023, from an extended illness at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born June 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Frank Crenshaw Sr. and Mary Jane Murray Crenshaw.

She was a member, Assistant Sunday School Teacher and active in the Women’s Counsel at East Side Church of Christ under the late Elder Ronald P. Fowler, until his retirement. Julia attended Warren City Schools and was involved in a plethora of organizations.

Together, Julia and her late husband Arthur William Redd Jr. bore ten children. She leaves to mourn eight, Mary (Norm) Smith, Donald Redd, Linda (Jerry) Martin, Wayne (Dorothy) Redd, Mark Redd, Marie (Roy) Yancey, Kirk Redd all of Warren, Ohio and Zena (Jeff) Hugley of Toledo, Ohio; one grandchild Donyetta Redd whom she raised and a brother Frank Crenshaw Jr.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Arthur William Redd III and Terry Lee Redd, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 3pm to 4pm, Saturday, November 18, 2023, at East Side Church of Christ, 1750 Niles Road, Warren, Ohio 44484. with services to follow at 4pm. She will be laid to rest at Meadow Brook Memorial Park in Warren, Ohio.
