Lawrence "Larry" Beers Obituary

Lawrence “Larry” Beers, 81 of Warren entered peacefully into eternal life on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 5:30 PM in his home.

He was born May 25, 1939 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of the late Paul and Geraldine Beers and was a graduate of Rowe High School.

Larry furthered his education by attending Youngstown State University with a double major receiving a bachelor’s degree in education and biology.

He began his career as a trainer with Arby’s International and worked for the Tribune Chronicle.  Larry retired after 10 years with B & R Wholesale Tire where he worked as a salesman in international and local sales.

He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Youngstown.  Larry was a member of Boy Scout Troop 101 and was a professional photographer; a hobby in which he truly had a passion for.

Fond memories of Larry will forever be cherished by his wife of 58 years the former Sondra Marinelli whom he married on October 9, 1962; two children Michael (Leyla) Beers of New Albany and Melissa Beers of Columbus and by four grandchildren Benjamin Leffler and Daxton, Weston and Dalton Beers.  He is also survived by his long-time friend Glen (Katherine) Stiles of Warren.

Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son-in-law Randy Leffler and by a brother Thomas Beers.

A Memorial Mass celebrating the life of Larry will take place in Columbus, Ohio.
