Lorna Joseph Adkins

HOWLAND – Lorna Joseph Adkins, age 94, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Continuing Health Care in Mineral Ridge.  She was born September 6, 1925 in Laurium, Mich., the daughter of Albert and Marian (Vogler) Baril, and moved to Ohio when she was twenty-one.

A devoted homemaker, Lorna enjoyed crochet, puzzles, and sewing. She made the best Syrian bread for the family and was well-known for it.

Precious memories of Lorna live on with her four children: Michael Joseph (Judy) of Kimbolton, Ohio, Carol Krok (John) of Howland, Richard Joseph of Niles, and Gene Joseph of Niles; sixteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; two sons, Thomas and Robert Joseph; three sisters: Catherine, Alberta, and Theresa Baril; and one brother, Gordon Baril.

Services are private.  Cremation is taking place.
