Warren – Mary-Jane Stanislaw, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at her residence. She was born on March 1, 1948, in Wadsworth, Ohio, the daughter of Roger and Phyllis Pyecroft.
She was a 1966 graduate of Newton Falls High School. Mary-Jane’s dream was to get married and have a family. She met the love of her life, James Stanislaw, whom she married on March 20, 1971.
Being the foundation of the family she dedicated her life to being both a devoted wife and a loving mother to her children. She always knew the right thing to say and was her children’s biggest cheerleader and supporter. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. But above all, she enjoyed family vacations to the beach and watching her two grandsons in their various activities. The impression she left on her family and friends will forever be in our hearts. We feel truly blessed to have something so special to cherish forever.
She is survived by her two sons, Bradford Stanislaw and John-Paul Stanislaw, and a daughter, Megan Stanislaw all of Warren, two grandsons, Airman 1st Class Parker James Stanislaw and Hudson Cole Gaffey-Stanislaw, a sister Laurel Koontz and two sister- in- laws, Aulikki Copas and Beverly Stanislaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, a brother David Copas, and a sister, Marjorie Hughes.
Family and friends can visit from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday, March 20, 2023 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren, Ohio. A memorial service will follow with Rev. Lody Officiating.
