Minnie L. Walker

WARREN – Minnie L. Walker age 88, passed away on October 20, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, OH. She was born on February 6, 1932 in Luverne, AL to John and Bernice Jackson (Parks).

She lived in the local area since 1952. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Warren OH. Minnie loved sports, Indians & Browns, watching the news, going to church, and traveling, spending time with family and friends, shopping, and enjoyed her Eastern Star activities.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband; James L. Walker, her daughter; Beverly A. Jones of Warren, her siblings; John R. Jackson Jr. of AL., Willie J Jackson of Warren, OH. Mary Muriel Bogan of AL., and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son James L. Walker Jr., and her siblings; Earl Jackson, Charles Jackson, John Wayne Jackson, and Retha Thompson. and Na”Kyiah Jones great-grandchild.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 on 11am at Friendship Baptist Church 1954 Brier Street SE Warren, OH. with Pastor Avan Odom. Friends may call one prior the time of the service at the church. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park.
