Tommy Elliot Pennington

Warren – Tommy Elliott Pennington Sr., 77, passed away Sunday March 12, 2023 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.  He was born on February 17, 1946, in Marytown, West Virginia to the late Alvin Tucker and Myrtle B. Pennington.

Tommy graduated from North High School in Youngstown in 1964. He was a veteran of United States Navy. He worked for Fisher Body Division of General Motors as a tool and die maker for 42 years. He loved going to the racetrack and spending time with his family.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Margurite Elaine Bunny Pennington; Sons Randall J. (Denise) Miller of Lyndhurst, Ohio, Tommy E Pennington Jr. of Warren, Ohio, Delshawn Allen of Warren Ohio, Marlon Allen of Warren, Ohio, Marque Allen of Warren, Ohio; daughters, Denise (Niecey) Pennington of Liberty, Ohio, DeAndrea (Snoopy) Porter of Warren Ohio, and Ashley (Jamaal) Martin of Warren, Ohio; sister, Phyllis Gray of Toledo, Ohio, 38 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Shamala Franklin, sisters, Joan Calhoun and Georgiann Penny Henderson.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Grace AME Church, 1137 Main Ave. SW, Warren, Ohio. With Pastor Shane Floyd officiating.  Friends and family can call one hour prior to the service at the Church.
